Danny A. George

Danny A. George, 66, of Sherwood, died Dec. 21, 2005.  He was an abstractor and an independent petroleum landman.

He is survived by his wife Betty Carson George; daughter, Kim Keathley of Little Rock; son, Keith George of Bixby, OK; step-children Greg Dalton, and Susan Dalton both of Sherwood, Don and Susan Dalton of Springdale, and Beth and Kyle Winebrenner of Cabot; 10 grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.

Funeral services were held Dec. 23 at Friendship Baptist Church, in Sherwood.

Entombment was at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park.

George, Danny A

Danny A. George 66, of Sherwood was called home unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon on December 21, 2005.  He will make heaven a little brighter though our lives will be a little dimmer.  Everyone who knew him loved him.  Children called him Mr. Danny, His grandchildren called him Papa Danny and Grand Danny, his wife called him precious.  He was born in Birta, AR to Rufus and Irma George.  He was an abstractor and independent petroleum landman.  He took great pride in this work.  He leaves behind his wife Betty Carson George; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Kenny Keathley of Little Rock; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Karla George of Bixby, OK; his step children, Greg Dalton of Sherwood, Susan Dalton of Sherwood, Don and Susan Dalton of Springdale, Beth and Kyle Winebrenner of Cabot; other survivors include: His beloved grandchildren, Jeremy Belknap, Kirk and Karson George, Ben Dalton, Aubrey, Amelia, Alex Dalton, Hayley Hunter and Hayden Winebrenner; three sisters, two brothers, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
