Frank James Hamilton, 56, Jasper, MO was pronounced dead Sunday November 5, 2006 by Jasper County Coroner, Jerry Neil from smoke inhalation. Frank was born July 23, 1950 in Carthage to John A. Hamilton and Maggie (Haggard) Hamilton. He attended Jasper Schools and was a truck driver Jack Carter Trucking and several other trucking firms. He married Pam Hasselbring in 1992; she preceded him in death in 1998. Survivors include his mother, Maggie Hamilton, Carthage, MO; two daughters, Melissa Hamilton, Thermal, CA, Megan Cook, Carthage, MO and one stepson Michael; three sisters, Margaret Moore and husband, Harry, Peoria, IL, Helen Joyce and husband, Ron, Springdale, AR and Sue Simmons and husband, Jerry, Carthage, MO; three brothers, Bill Hamilton, Carthage, Murrell Hamilton and wife Joyce, Jasper, MO and Homer Hamilton and wife Debbie, Carthage, MO; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Hamilton, Carthage and one grandson, Elijah Jackson, Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his father, John Hamilton, one brother, Jack Hamilton, one sister, Violet Hamilton and one grandson, Andre Michael Peters. The body has been sent for cremation. Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday November 9 at Fasken Cemetery, NE of Carthage, MO. Rev. Ed Hamilton will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Knell Mortuary, Carthage, MO.

Graveside services for Frank James Hamilton, 56, Jasper, MO who passed away Sunday November 5, 2006 were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday November 9 in Fasken Cemetery, NE of Carthage, MO.

Rev. Ed Hamilton officiated. Special recorded music “I Did It My Way” was played. Rev. Hamilton read a letter of remembrance written for Frank from his sister, Sue Simmons.

Services were under the direction of Knell Mortuary, Carthage, MO.
