Stephen Ray Mayr Died In Austin Thursday

Stephen Ray Mayr, one year old son of Minister of the Church of Christ and Mrs. Paul Mayr, died in an Austin hospital Thursday morning, December 10, at 8:25 o'clock following a brief illness.

Funeral services were held at the Friedrich Funeral Home Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock conducted by Minister J. I. Taylor of the Northside Church of Christ, Austin, and Minister Vernon Simpson of the Church of Christ in Kennedy.

Songs were by a quartet composed of Mrs. Robert Caskey, J. D. Thomas, Jr., L. G. Glover, Sr. and Robert Sluder.

Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.   

Little Stephen Ray, who was born in Georgetown on June 20, 1952, is survived by his parents; two brothers, Mark Mayr and Ed Mayr; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Hodges of Austin, Mrs. Mary Mayr and Charles Mayr of Waco, and other relatives.
