TOOELE -- George Francis Burkett, 64, Tooele, died Tuesday in a Salt Lake hospital after a short illness.  Born Nov. 18, 1898, Burlingham, Kan., to James H. and Francis Lillian Chapman Burkett.  Married LaVanche C. Lancaster, Nov. 28, 1922, Monticello.  Painter at Tooele Army Depot.  Member, Catholic Church.  Survivors; Widow; sons, daughter, James, George, Mrs. Robert (Marjorie May) Perkins, all of Tooele; four grandchildren.  Requiem Mass Friday, 10 a.m., St. Marguerite's Catholic Church, Tooele.  Holy Rosary will be recited Thursday, 10 a.m. , Tate Mortuary, Tooele, where friends may call Thursday, 7-9 a.m., Friday prior to services.  Burial, Tooele City Cemetery.
