--- Burkett Services at 2 p.m. Today ---

- The funeral of Mrs. Martha Burkett, 81, will be held at the Carey chapel in Burlingame at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) and burial will be in the Burlingame cemetery.  She died Jan. 22 in an Osage City rest home.

- Mrs. Burkett was born Nov. 5, 1886, at Burlingame and had spent most of her life in this community.  She was a member of the Pythian Sisters lodge of Burlingame.

- Survivors include two sons, Edwin of Burlingame and Richard of Topeka; two daughters, Mrs. Leora Kirby of Cooksville, Tenn., and MRs. Arlene Ramskill of Attica, O.; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Griffin of Burlingame and Mrs. Arti Gimm of Pleasant Valley, Ia.; a brother, Arthur Washington of Los Angeles, Calif.; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. ---
