-- Samuel W. Burkett Was Lifelong Citizen --

- Funeral services were held Wednesday of this week for Samuel W. Burkett, 82, who died Feb. 11 at his home here.

Rites were held at the Federated church and interment was in the Burlingame Cemetery.

- Mr. Burkett was born Nov. 15, 1879, in Burlingame and was a lifelong resident. He was an interior decorator.

- Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Martha Burkett of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Leora Kirby of Cookeville, Tenn., and Mrs. Arlene Ramskille of Attica, Ia.; two sons Edwin Burkett of Burlingame and Richard of Topeka. --
