Mrs. Maxine Collier of Marion Dies

   Mrs. Maxine Collier, 38, of 808 N. Highland St., Marion, died at 4:10 a.m.  today in Marion Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past two months.

   Born July 15, 1924, in Marion, she was the daughter of Corliss E. and Mary Perryman Little, Sr.  She married Wendell Collier at Charleston, Mo., Jan. 22, 1940.

   Mrs. Collier was a member of the  First Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

   She leaves her husband; daughters, Barbara Jo, Patricia Ann and Sandra Jean, and a son, Larry Deon, all at home; mother, Mrs., Mary Little Pfister of Marion; sisters, Mrs., Vernon Rich of Belleville and Mrs. Bill Vanzandt of Modesto, Calif.; brothers Lt. Col. Eugene Little of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Corliss E. Little Jr. of Marion.

   Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church.  The Rev. C. R. Walker will officiate.  Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

   Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Wilson Funeral Home, Marion.
