Mrs. Jennie Jones

Mrs. Jennie B. Jones, 76, of 2614 McCoy Ave., died Thursday at 7 a.m., at her home after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Central Church of Christ with Elbert Young officiating.   Burial will be in Edgemont Cemetery with Gray Brown - Service Mortuary in charge.

The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.

She is survived by four sons, Grover and J. W. (Buddy) of Anniston, Roy of El Monte, Calif., and Leonard of Columbiana; four daughters, Mrs. H. H. Roisdon of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Catherine Henry and Mrs. Lucille Jones of Anniston and Mrs., Hazel Propst of Columbia, S. C.; one sister, Mrs. Ada Helton of Anniston; and 18 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be H. J. Doss, J. A. Tidwell, M. L. McCain, Ralph Hill, W. T. Forsythe, C. E. Borden.

Honorary pallbearers will be H. H. Evans, Leo Olive, S. A. Smith, Dr. John Durden, W. A. Holley, A. M. Taylor, W. V. Gregg, D. L. Methvin, Oscar Gilchrist, Tracy Fleming, Charlie Reynolds, Howard Williamson, Ed Doss and Otis Robinson.

Mrs. Jones had resided in Anniston for the past 50 years and was a former resident of Tennessee.  She was a member of the Central Church of Christ.
