Mrs. Ottie CARSON KEATHLEY of North Little Rock died March 5 at the Baptist hospital there. Funeral services were held at Griffin-Legget Chapel Monday morning at 9:30 and the body was brought to the Pleasant Ridge cemetery for burial. Graveside services were held there by her pastor. Pallbearers were Howard MILLIGAN, Woodrow JOHNSON, George FIRESTONE, Ralph PASCOE, Scot COWAN and Jim DUHON. Mrs. KEATHLEY was born in 1892, the daughter of Riley and Cordelia REID. She was married to Pat CARSON and resided in Marion County until 1918 when the family moved to Oklahoma, later settling in Little Rock. Mr. CARSON died in 1933. Mrs. KEATHLEY is survived by seven children, Joel and Eddie CARSON of California, J. C., Aubrey, and Jack CARSON, Mrs. P. E. MOON, Mrs. George POLOS, all of North Little Rock; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; one brother, Graden REID of Little Rock AND A NIECE, Mrs. Scot COWAN of Yellville. Mrs. KEATHLEY visited here often and has many friends in this area. |
