Second Lieutenant Herbert George Lucas

Let us not forget Second Lieutenant Herbert George Lucas, casualty of the Vietnam War.  As a member of the Army Reserve, 2LT Lucas served our country until September 2nd, 1968 in Tay Ninh, South Vietnam.  He was 23 years old and was not married.  Herbert died from an undetermined explosion.  His body was recovered.  Herbert was born on October 25th, 1944 in Brawley, California.

2LT Lucas is on panel 45W, line 027 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C.  He served our country for less than a year.
