Elmer Prescott

PAMPA (Special) — Funeral services for James Elmer Prescott, 62, of 509 Short St., who was dead on arrival Thursday afternoon at Worley Hospital after suffering a heart attack, are pending with Duenkel Funeral Home.

Mr. Prescott was born in Roger Mills County, Okla.  He moved to Pampa in  1938 from Texola, Okla.  He was an employe of the Gray County road department and a member of the Harvester Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Zella Mae; daughters, Mrs. LaHoma Davis of Pampa and Mrs. Betty Joan Bowling of Lompoc, Calif.; sisters, Mrs. R. W. Cornelius, Mrs. Foster Whiteley and Mrs. E. A Luedecke, all of Pampa, Mrs. Jimmie Hawkins of Dill, Okla., and Mrs. Frances Fulton of Antioch, Callf.; brothers, Elzia of Foss, Okla., and Roy of Artesia, N.M., and five grandchildren
