Last Rites Held For Fred A. Templeton

Funeral services for Fred A. Templeton, 77-year old Llano County native, were held Saturday afternoon, June 17, at the Waldrope Funeral Home with Minister Silas Howell and Rev. Howard South officiating.  Burial was in the Board Branch Cemetery near Lone Grove.

Mr. Templeton died at his home Thursday night.

The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Logan Templeton, he was born in Llano County June 17, 1886, and was a lifelong resident of the county.  He was married to Miss Clara Townsend who preceded him in death.  Mr. Templeton, a member of the Baptist Church and an officer in World I, was engaged in business in Llano.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Alla G. Sullivan of Denver City and Mrs. Georgia Carver of Flushing, New York; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Louis Templeton, Ford Templeton, J. L. Carver, R. E. Frenzel, Guy Clymer and Jim Duncan.
