Cecil Townsend

Services for Cecil Keith Townsend, 48, who died in a local hospital Saturday, will bee in the 20th Ward Chapel, Walnut and Carey St. North Las Vegas at 2 p.m. today.  Bishop Fenton Dale Frehner will officiate.  Burial will be in Woolawn Cemetery.  Bunker Brothers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Townsend was born Feb. 13, 1919, in Colby, Kans., and lived here nine years, residing at 2182 North Pecos.  He was a heavy equipment operator-mechanic, a World War II veteran, a member of Local 12 Operating Engineers and the 20th Ward.

Survivors are his wife, Estella, North Las Vegas; two sons, Keith and Cecil Townsend; a daughter, Cecelia Kay Oschle; two grandchildren, Heidi and Natanile Oschle, all of Pueblo, Colo.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy A. Townsend, of Cannon City, Colo., and a brother, Harold A. Townsend, of Pueblo, Colo.
