Fannye Burkett

EASTLAND (RNS) — Fanny Burkett, 88, of Kerrville and formerly of Gorman and Eastland died Friday in Kerrville.  Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Arrington Funeral Home Chapel.

The Rev. Huron Pulnae, pastor of the Gorman Baptist Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Eastland Memorial Cemetery.

Born Nov, 21, 1887 in Waldo, Ark., she was a resident of Eastland for several years before moving to Kerrville.  She was a member of the Gorman Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Joe, Jr. of Kerrville and Prentice of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Margaret Ellison of Abilene and Dorothy Alford of Wichita Falls; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bill Parr, Jackie Parker, W.C. Smith, Bruce Hirst, D.O. Munn and W. C. Browning.
