Davenport Services Scheduled Tuesday

Service for Curtis Davenport, 78, of No. 8 Farris, who died Sunday in a Wichita Falls hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with the Rev. O. F. Turney of Pentecostal Church of God officiating.

Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will include Dayton Starnes, Bill Starnes, Buster Brewster, Troy Williams, John Lovett an L. B. Sewell.

Born Sept. 6, 1900, in DeQueen, Ark., Davenport was a retired Carpenter an a resident of Wichita Falls 54 years.

Survivors include his wife, Lula; two sons, Chester of Petrolia, Tex., and Norman of Wichita Falls; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Cox, Mrs. Betty McDaniel and Verna Davenport all of Wichita Falls; two brothers, R. D. of Wichita Falls and Henry of Modesto, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. A. L. Lovett of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Katherine Patterson of Dallas and Mrs. Artie Matthews of Graham, Tex., and 13 grandchildren.
