Oscar Frank Hunter

Mr. Oscar Frank Hunter, 73 of 315 Racetrack Road, N.W., Fort Walton Beach, died at 8:30 Wednesday in the Fort Walton Beach Hospital.  He was born in Tennessee and was a retired engineer.  Mr. Hunter was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Fort Walton Beach and had resided in Fort Walton Beach for the past three years.  He was a  member of Masters Masonic Lodge No. 244 F. & A. M., Knoxville, Tenn.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday from the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. C.H. Thorn officiating.  Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, Ala., with McLaughlin Mortuary and Laughlin Funeral Home in Huntsville directing.  Mr. Hunter will lie in state at the church one hour before services.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund.

Survivors include, widow, Mrs. Martha B. Hunter of Fort Walton Beach; sons, James L. Hunter of Paducah, Ky., William G. and Douglas W. Hunter of Huntsville, Ala., and M.O. Webb of Tampa; daughter, Mrs. Joan McMahon of Virginia Beach, Va.; brother, Paul Hunter of Athens, Ala.; sisters, Mrs Ruth Leopard of Athens and Mrs. Elizabeth Douthit of Greenbrier, Ala.: and nine grandchildren.
