Renee Meeks

Services for Renee Meeks, 27, of 2503 25th St. are set for 2 p.m. today in Broadway Church or Christ Chapel with Horace Hoffman, associate minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

Mrs. Meeks died at 10:10 p.m. Thursday at Methodist Hospital.

She had worked eight years as an actress performing in plays at the Texas Tech University Theater, Lubbock Little Theater and the Hayloft Dinner Theater.  She had also performed in Amarillo and St. Louis, Mo.

Mrs. Meeks had lived in Lubbock since 1960 and was graduated from Lubbock Christian high school in 1967.  She attended Texas Tech University three years and was a member of Broadway Church of Christ. 

Survivors include a daughter, Michelle of the home, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Gagnon of 2503 25th St.; and a sister, Mrs. Vickie Bush of Lubbock.
