Father of Bill Morgan Succumbs

Graveside services were conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Littlefield Memorial Park for Ross Emanuel Morgan, 74, who died at 8:20 p.m. February 14 at West Texas Medical Center, Abilene,  Ned Fairbairn officiated.  He was the father of Bill Morgan of Brownfield.

A native of Oklahoma, Morgan was a water well driller at Littlefield.

Survivors include his widow, Elva, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Tommie Lowrance of Abilene, Mrs. Betty Stracener of Littlefield and Mrs. Pat Piner of Levelland; one other son, Billy of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Mrs. Carl Thorp of Sweetwater, Mrs. Kate McDonald of McClean and Mrs. Zora Blessing of Tulia; three brothers, Ray of Hobbs, Bill of Panhandle and Joe of Alaska; 28 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
