Mrs. Opal Nicholas

FALFURRIAS -- Funeral services for Mrs. Opal B. Nicholas, 68, of Falfurrias, who died at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday at her home after a short illness, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Antlers, Okla., with burial in Rettan, Okla.

Howard-Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Oklahoma, Mrs. Nicholas had lived in Falfurrias four months.

Survivors include one son, James D. Pierce of Falfurrias; two daughters, Mrs T. Guinn of Alice and Mrs. M. R. Corbin of Corpus Christi; two brothers, George Burkett of Mexia and Eurcle Burkett of Lamont, Calif.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
