Claude Patterson

Claude Patterson, Jr., of Tyler, a native of Sulphur Springs, died at 9:30 p.m. Friday in Mother Frances Hospital.

He was born Aug. 28, 1926 in Sulphur Springs to Claude and Clarice McCool Patterson.  His mother preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda; four sons, Pat Patterson of San Antonio, Kris, Patrick and Keith Patterson of Tyler; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Thetford of Graham; four grandchildren; his father, Claude Patterson of Mt. Pleasant and a brother, Jimmy Mack Patterson of Austin.

Among his local survivors are Burke McCool, an uncle; and Mrs. Ellie McCool and Mrs. Juanita Potts of Sulphur Springs and Mrs. Grace Potts of Dike and Mrs. Lula Stearman of Nelta, aunts.

Arrangements are with Lloyd-James Funeral Home in Tyler. 

Burial was in Gafford Chapel Cemetery.
