Lifelong Electra Resident Dies

ELECTRA (Special) -- John Patrick Ream, 69, a lifelong resident of Electra died Tuesday in a Wichita Falls hospital. 

Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in James B. Totten & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. E. B. Crump, pastor of Assembly of God Church officiating.  Burial will be in Electra Memorial Park.

Born Aug. 16, 1902, in Wichita County, he was a retired oil field driller.  Ream was a member of Electra AF & AM lodge 1967 and Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Sue Jones and Mrs. Pat Palermo, both of Wichita Falls, and Mrs. Joyce Durst, of Lancaster, Calif.; three sons, Dale of California, Kenneth of Orlando, Fla., and Bob of Iowa Park; four brothers, Enos of Waco, Charlie of Lubbock, Leo and Herbert both of Wichita Falls; three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Martin of Archer City, Mrs. Blanche Tegart of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Vodie Ingram of Fort Worth; two stepsons, Kenneth Wright of Snyder, Tex., and Don of Electra; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Bertie Shumake of Electra, Mrs. Clara Beasley of Bowie, Mrs. Lela Bott of Snyder, and Mrs. Sofona Davis of Electra; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 25 step-great-grandchildren.
