Mrs. Catherine Russell

Mrs. Catherine Inez Russell, 56, of El Monte, Calif., died  Thursday in California after a short illness.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Lawrence Greenwood officiating.   Burial will be in Edgemont Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Carol Ann Pruitt of Oxford; two sons, Billy Russell of Anniston and Larry Russell of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Propst of Anniston, Mrs. Lucille Jones of El Monte, Calif., and Mrs. Ella Royston of Akron, Ohio; three brothers, Billy Jones of Saks, Leonard Jones of Columbiana and Roy Jones of Temple City, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Larry, Bedford Jones, Johnny Jones, Charles Chastain, Frank Gilchrist, Milton Burrows and Charles Borden.

Mrs. Russell had lived in Calhoun County most of her life and lived in California 12 years.  She was a former employee of Regional Medical Center.

The body will remain at the funeral home through services.
