Mrs. Mary Katherine Sefried dies

Mrs. Mary Katherine Sefried, 73, widow of Herman Sefried, 210 West Elm St., died at 8:06 p. m. Wednesday in Welborn Hospital, following surgery Tuesday.  She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 21 of this year.  Her parents were the late Charles E. and Lina Leibenguth Martin and she was born on Dec. 16,1900.  She was married to Mr. Sefried on Nov. 22, 1927.  Mrs. Sefried was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church and the United Transportation Union Auxiliary.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Carolyn) Adams and Mrs. Bill (Suzanne) Barger, both of Harrisburg; three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Rollie (Ethel) Moore, Harrisburg and Mrs. W W. (Lina) Ballantyne, Flint, Mich.  Three brothers, Leslie, Ed, and Clifford Martin and a sister, Mattie Martin preceded her in death.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p. m. Saturday from the chapel of the Gaskins Funeral Home.  The Rev. David MacDonna will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation after 6 p. m. Friday at Gaskins.
