Mrs. Charles Stewart

UTICA -- Berta Stewart, 66, died Tuesday at her home.  Born Berta Bruce Feb. 8, 1911 at South Haven, she was married to Charles Stewart Feb. 3, 1929 at Wakeeney.  She lived here since 1929.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Garden City.

Survivors include widower; sons: Herbert, Hubert, Max, all of Denver, Colo,; daughter: Mrs. Beverly Douglas, Kansas City, Kan.; brother: Roy Bruce, Ore.; sisters: Mrs. Lillian Hubbard, Hoisington; Mrs. Virginia Johnston, Three Forks, Mont.; Mrs. Ernestine Hunt, Albuquerque, N.M.; Mrs. Eunice Morris, Geuda Springs; eight grandchildren.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Christian Church, Utica; Rev. Donald Moss.  Burial will be in Utica Cemetery.  Friends may call noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Utica.
