Katy Sullivan Dies After Short Illness

Services for Katy B. Sullivan, 61, of Andrews were held at 5 p.m. Thursday at Singleton Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes

Burial followed with 4 p.m. graveside services Friday at Jacksonville Cemetery.

Mrs. Sullivan died at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday at Permian General Hospital in Andrews following a brief illness.

Born at Waco, Mrs. Sullivan had been a resident of Andrews, Odessa and Carlsbad, N.M.

An interior decorator-designer, Mrs. Sullivan opened a decorating studio in Andrews in 1971 and had recently opened a second shop in Odessa.

She was a member of Carlsbad's Presbyterian Church.

She married Jack [sic] L. Sullivan Dec. 24, 1930 at San Angelo.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Charles Morgan Sullivan of Abilene; a brother, Charles N. Woodfin of Longview; and two grandchildren.
