TISSAW RITES Monday at 2 p.m.
 

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Flagstaffs Episcopal Church of the Epiphany for Mrs. Esther G. Tissaw, 77, wife of former Coconino County Supervisor Joe Tissaw, Sr.

Mrs. Tissaw, a native of Flagstaff, died early Friday in the Ponderosa Annex of the Flagstaff Community Hospital, where she had been a resident for several weeks.

She fell In mid-December and broke a hip.

Mrs. Tissaw was a lifetime member of the Flagstaff Rebekah Lodge, of Eastern Star, and of daughters of the Nile.

She is survived by her husband, of Flagstaff, one son, Tom Tissaw, and one daughter, Mrs. June Heck, both of Flagstaff; a sister, Mrs. Betsy Fransen, of Flagstaff; and two brothers, Jess and Jim Gregg.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Mrs. Tissaw was preceded in death by two sons, Joe Tissaw, Jr., a popular teacher at Flagstaff J. High School, and William Tissaw.

Monday's services will be conducted by the Rev. Robert Fosse. Pallbearers will be George Tissaw, Andrew Tissaw, Paul Tissaw, Dave Tissaw, Tim Gregg and Andy Matson.

Burial will be in the Tissaw family plot in Flagstaff's Citizen's Cemetery.

Friends may call at Flagstaff Mortuary from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday
