Eula Elizabeth Bond Watson

 

WATSON, Eula Elizabeth Bond Watson (circa 1900 - 1974)

Mrs. Eula Elizabeth Bond Watson, aged 74, a resident of the Blues Hill community and wife of the Rev. F. L. Watson, succumbed to a lingering illness in McMinnville Nursing Home on Wednesday.  A native of DeKalb County and member of the Presbyterian Church, she was a daughter of the late John Lee and Locky Snow Bond.  Besides her minister husband, she is survived by seven sons and four daughters, Paul, Morris, Frank and Johnnie Watson, all of McMinnville; James Watson, Smithville; the Rev. David Watson, Brush Creek, and Aaron Watson, Hot Springs Ark; Mrs. Homer Stennet, Fair Mount, Ind., and Mrs. Rebecca Ferrel, Jackson; two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Novella Mangum, of this city; Mrs. Della Mai Simpson, Muncie, Ind.; John Bond, Florida; and Lillard Bond, Marion, Ky.  Also surviving are 36 grandchildren and 22 grandchildren.  The Rev. Phillip and the Rev. Don Reeves conducted final rites in Love-Cantrell Chapel here at 2 p.m. Friday, interment following in Banks Cemetery. The arrangements were by Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.
