Crystal Leigh Burkett

Crystal Leigh Burkett, 3, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burkett, 431 N. Ohio, died Monday, Nov. 28, at her home.  She had cancer. 

She was born July 9, 1980, in Topeka, the daughter of Richard and Debbie Burkett.

She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church.

Other survivors include two sisters, Michelle Miller and Stacey Miller, both at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Hanrahan, Topeka; and a great-grandmother, Mrs. Anna Hanrahan, Topeka.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Assumption Catholic Church.  Burial will be at Valencia Cemetery west of Topeka.  Crystal Burkett will lie in state until 9 p.m. today at Parker-Price Mortuary where a parish rosary (will be) recited at 7 p.m.  Contributions may be made to the Crystal Leigh Burkett Memorial Fund yet to be designated by relatives and sent in care of Thomas J. Henrahan, 5240 N.E. Indian Creek Road, 66617.
