Funeral services for James Floyd Burkett, 60, of Burnet were conducted Tuesday afternoon in the Bertram Church of Christ with Minister Bill Breitschopf officiating.  Graveside services followed later that day at Senterfitt Cemetery, near Lometa.

Mr. Burkett died Sunday in an Austin hospital.

He was a rancher, a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Bertram Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Billie J. Burkett of Burnet; a daughter, Jamie Burkett of Burnet; a sister, Wanda Gerald of Arlington; and a niece, Marla Box of Burnet.

Edgar Funeral Home of Burnet had charge of arrangements.
