Funeral services for Kelley H. Haney, 60, Rt 1, Tuttle, were held Tuesday, Jan 5, in the Amber High school auditorium.

He was born 6/30/1921 in Amber and passed away 1/2/1982 following a farming accident.  He and Cleta Faye Smith were married 11/28/1946 in Tuttle.  Mr Haney lived in Grady County all of his life.  He was self-employed as a farmer and rancher in Grady County.  He was a former employee for Moore and Stauffer of Amber, H.E. Bailey turnpike, manager of Coop of Amber, and Poag Grain.  He attended the ninth and Colorado Church of Christ.  He was a veteran of World War II, a sgt in the Air Force, serving in England.  He was preceded in death by an infant son, Thomas Creg, in 1947, 1 daughter, Evelyn Irene on 1/21/1961, 1 brother, Leonard on 8/8/1972, and 1 sister, Melba Haney.

Survivors include Cleta Faye, 2 sons, Phillip Wayne of Amber and Ronnie Gene of the home, 1 daughter, Laura Jane Miracle of Amber, 1 brother, Charles of Amber, 4 sisters, Irene Calvert of Oklahoma City, Margaret Oberkamp of Oklahoma City, Hazel Ivie of Amber, & Maude Patterson of Illinois, and 4 granddaughters.  Interment was in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Sevier funeral home.
