James B. Huggins

Services for James B. Huggins, 1095 Western Drive, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Ave., with the Rev. Doug Carver officiating.  Burial will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery at Denver.

Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Mr. Huggins, 64, died Thursday in a Colorado Springs hospital.

He was born Jan. 7, 1920, in Nashville, Tenn., and had been a Colorado Springs area resident since 1980.  He served with the Army during World War II.  He had been a security guard in California for many years before moving to this area.

He was a member of Skyway Baptist Church

He was married on Nov. 26, 1962, in Las Vegas, Nev.

Survivors include his wife, Genevieve, three sons, Colin R Burgess of Fountain and Thomas M. Huggins and James B. Huggins Jr., both of Nashville, two sisters, Irene Turner of Madison, Tenn., and Eleanor Stone of Donaldson, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.
