Hubert Austin Lane 
 

HUBERT AUSTIN LANE, a resident of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, was born December 23, 1910 in Green Forest, Arkansas, a son of George and Maggie (Anderson) Lane.  He departed this life Tuesday, September 20, 1988 in Pea Ridge, Arkansas, at the age of 77 years. 

Hubert was of the Baptist faith and attended Sunny Side Baptist Church in Rogers, Arkansas.

On September 03, 1930, Hubert was united in marriage with Ethel Justine (Bruce) Lane who survives him of the home.  He is also survived by one son, Ronald Lane, grandson, Matthew Austin Lane and granddaughter, Renae Ilene Lane, all of Rogers, AR; two sisters, Grace Denney of Yakima, WA and Pauline Carter of Chanute, KS; three brothers, Euell Lane and Cleo Lane both of Benton County, AR and Walter Lane of California; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.   

Hubert was preceded in death by his parents, George and Maggie Lane; brother, Jewell Lane; and two infant daughters, Wanda LaVone Lane and Marjorie Louise Lane.  

Visitation was held from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 22, 1988 at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel.  Funeral service was 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 23, 1988 at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel with Reverend Marvin Stephens officiating.  Interment followed the service in the Farewell Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
