Lykes Remains to  Roscoe. Tex. For Services, Burial

    Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon January 11, 1981 at First Baptist Church in Roscoe, Texas for Mrs. Anna Bell Lykes, 91, of La Siesta Retirement Center in Hobbs.

    Mrs. Lykes died Wednesday evening January 8, 1981 of natural causes.

   She had been a resident of La Siesta for three years, and had served as a nurses aide in several hospitals.

    She was born August 25, 1889 in Eskota, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Washington Wallace.

    Following the service, she was buried in Roscoe Cemetery in Roscoe, Texas under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

    Survivors include two sons, Mike Risinger, Hobbs, N.M.; Wallace Risinger, Hot Spings, South Dakota; one daughter, Mrs. Rita Whorton, Dallas Texas, ten grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

    Local arrangements were by Griffin Funeral Home.
