Vera E. Tissaw, 72, of St. Louis died Saturday, Dec. 6, 1986, at the Schnepp Health Center in St. Louis.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Alward-Carter Funeral Home in St. Louis.  Cremation was Monday.  Memorials may be made to the Patient Equipment Locker.

Mrs. Tissaw was born Oct. 9-1914, in Ingham County to John and Blanche (Spahr) Bouts.

Mrs. Tissaw was a resident of St. Louis for two years.  She formerly lived in Cottonwood, Ariz., where she was a member of the Verde Valley Bible Church.

Mrs. Tissaw is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Allen (Vivian) Cooper and Mrs. Lloyd (Joan) Holton Jr., both of St. Louis; one son, Clifford Nichols of Mason; one stepson, Ferris Strickland Jr. of Mason; two brothers, Howard Bouts of Aurelius and Hugh Bouts of Dewitt; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband; one sister June; and one great-grandson.
