of Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT - Ruth Frances Burkett, a homemaker, died Friday at a Bridgeport nursing home.  She was 97.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.  Burial will be at 2 p.m Monday in Oak Grove Cemetery in Irving.

Mrs. Burkett was born in Orr, Okla., and lived in Bridgeport for five years.  She was a Baptist.

Survivors: Daughter, Della Porter of Bridgeport; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
