FORT WORTH - Beatrice Dyer Godfrey, a homemaker, died Friday at a Fort Worth hospital. She was 81.

Funeral will be at noon today at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth.

Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Mrs. Godfrey was born in Deport and had lived in Fort Worth for 33 years. She was a Baptist. She was the widow of J.W. Godfrey.

The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.

Survivors: Daughter, Virginia Godfrey Otte of Dickinson; sister, Marie Stewart of Lubbock; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
