Milred E. Johnson Berger Oregonian, The, October 26, 1994
Funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 1994, in Attrell's Sherwood Chapel. Mrs. Berger died of heart disease Oct. 24. She was 67. She was born Aug. 3, 1927, in Shawnee Mission, Kan. Her maiden name was Johnson. She grew up in Kansas and Colorado and moved to Oregon in the early 1940s. She married Carl P. Berger May 31, 1944. They lived in Sherwood, Latourell Falls and Northeast Portland before settling in Sherwood in 1960. Survivors are her husband; daughters, Marie E. Catlin of Milwaukie and Carol Ann McPike of Wilsonville; sons, Carl P. Jr. of Aurora, David L. of Aloha, Donald A. of Albany, Richard A. of West Linn and Philip G. of Beaverton; brother, Eldon Johnson of Sandpoint, Idaho; sisters, Vida Provolt of Sandpoint, Laurel Bryant of Scranton, Kan., Charlotte Buell of St. Helens and Nadine Warner of Kent, Wash.; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
