HOMOSASSA -- Robert C. Gilbert, 65, died Feb. 25, 1994. A native of Paris, Tenn., Mr. Gilbert moved here 22 years ago from St. Petersburg. He retired in August 1989 after 11 years as an electrical inspector with Citrus County; was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II; member of VFW Post 4252, Hernando; West Citrus Elks Lodge 2693, Homosassa; and was Protestant. Survivors include a son, Ernest Clint Gilbert, Atlanta; daughter, Gail Lofton, Nashville, Tenn.; and half-brother, William S. Haynes, Bowling Green, Ky. Hooper Funeral Home, Homosassa Chapel, is handling arrangements. Ocala Star-Banner (FL) - Friday, March 18, 1994
