Services: Sat., Feb. 27, 10 A.M.

A chapel service will be held for James Marvin Kerr, 80, of Lament on Saturday, 2-27-93 at 10 A.M. at Hillcrest Mortuary chapel.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday, 2-26-93 from 12 Noon to 8 P.M. at Hillcrest Mortuary.

Mr. Kerr was a 50 year resident of Kern County and worked for Van Construction Co. in the oil fields for approx. 6 years prior to his retirement.  He also worked for DiGiorgio Farms for several years, and was a farm worker in the Wheeler Ridge area for some time.

He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Kerr of Lamont; two sons, Johnny P. Means of Bakersfield and Tommy R. Kerr of Twin Falls, ID; two brothers, R.E. Kerr of Maysville, OK, Richard Kerr of Bethany, OK; four sisters, Annie Campbell and Murl Bailey of Ardmore, OK., and Ethel Pigg and Benny Frensley of Midwest City, OK.; there are also 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Ardmore, Ok. next week.
