BURLESON - Jack B. Jackson, 66, a retired salesman/buyer, died Saturday at a local hospital. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Burleson Church of Christ. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation: 5 to 7 tonight at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Burleson. Officiating ministers: Mr. Karl Jones and Mr. Don Kuhn. Jack Jackson was born March 24, 1930, in Brownfield. He was a resident of Burleson for 29 years and a member of Burleson Church of Christ. He retired from Berry St. Lumber Company in 1992 after 25 years. He enjoyed reading and worked with the World Bible School. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He also was a volunteer at Huguley Hospital. Survivors: Wife, Carol Jackson of Burleson; son, Michael Jackson of Mexia; daughter, Michele Jackson of Burleson; sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn and Walter Marler of Lovington, N.M.; nephew, David Marler and his wife, Shawnlee, of Hobbs, N.M.; niece, Barbara Marler of Lovington, N.M.; and aunt and uncle, LaRue and Bill Jackson of Lovington, N.M.
