James D. Pierce

FALFURRIAS - James D. Pierce, a retired Exxon Co. employee, died July 30, 1996.  He was 72.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Carol Vecchio of Falfurrias; a son, Paul Pierce of Taft; two sisters, Katha Guinn of Leakey and Georgia Corbin of Corpus Christi; and four grandsons.

Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 1 at Howard-Williams-Turcotte Funeral Home.  Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Aug. 2 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Alice Cemetery, Alice.
