Herman Chisholm

Herman Chisholm, 74, of Huntsville died Sunday at his home.  The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Aubrey Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Chisholm, a native of Madison County, was a World War II veteran, the former owner of Chisholm Jewelry and worked at Larry's Pistol and Pawn.  He was a graduate of the University of Alabama.

Survivors include his wife, Eugenia C. Chisholm of Huntsville; a daughter, Carol Chisholm Andrus of Houston, Texas; two sons, John Thrasher of Centerville, Ohio, and Philip Thrasher of Memphis; a sister, Loretta Patterson of Huntsville; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association or to a favorite charity.
