Ruth G. Guthrie, 84, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, June 28, 1998.  She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Guthrie Minoli and husband, Wally; son, Dr. Byrl Blount Jr. and wife, Marla Kay; granddaughters, Kelly Stout, Johanna Stout, Barbara Blount, and Janalee Barnard; great-grandchildren, Avery and Sarah; sisters, Mattie Ellis and Wilma Purcell; and brother, Eugene Herbert Price Jr. and wife, Polly.  Mrs. Guthrie was preceded in death by her husband, Fay Guthrie.  Private family services were held.
