HEMPHILL -- Rosemary Bowers, 74, passed away August 18, 1998. Born January 11, 1924 in Wellington, Kansas, she moved with her children to El Cajon in 1954. She worked 25 years for Paul Revere Insurance Co. before retiring in 1988. She is survived by her husband Joe of Lakeside; sons Michael and Stephen Edmondson; daughters Lucia Edmondson and Marcia Suter; brothers William Bowers of Belle Plaine, Kansas and Jack Bowers of Spring Valley; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; stepchildren Lonnie and John Hemphill and Donna Simmons; 7 stepgrandchildren and 8 step-great-grandchildren. A Loving Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend, she will always be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 26 at ...
