Dorothy Weiss

LaPORTE - Dorothy L. Weiss, 78, LaPorte, died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday (June 13, 1998) at Fountain View Terrace, LaPorte.

The funeral service is at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Carlisle Funeral Home, Michigan City, with the Rev. Jeff Reed officiating.  Burial is at Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City.

Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Weiss was born Feb. 27, 1920, in Moberly, Mo., the daughter of Carl and Goldie Mae Perryman Bundesman.  On Aug. 27, 1937, in Moberly, she married Harold Weiss, who preceded her in death on Sept. 10, 1991.

She is survived by five sons, Robert (Judy) Weiss, Three Oaks, Mich., David (Donna) Weiss, Michigan City, Raymond (Judy) Weiss, Kingsford Heights, Norman Weiss, LaPorte, and Martin (Ida) Weiss, Kingsford Heights; three daughters, Carol A. (Ronald) Miller, Michigan City, Barbara (Jerome) Jackson, Michigan City, and Henrietta Uzun, Springfield, Mo.; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, Carl (Carlene) Bundesman, Bridgman, Mich.; and a sister, Allene Wadlington, Truman, Ark.

She was preceded in death by a son, Harold Weiss Jr., three sisters and two brothers.

Mrs. Weiss was a homemaker.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of Carlisle Funeral Home.
