Wanda Gerald The San Angelo Standard - Times Online/West Texas News, Dec. 5, 1999 Wanda Gerald GOLDTHWAITE - Wanda Gerald, 74, of Kingsland died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, in a San Antonio hospital. Service will be at 2 p.m. today in the Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery. She was born Nov. 7, 1925, in Mullin and had been a resident of Kingsland since 1996. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Stoddard "Todd'' Gerald of Kingsland; a daughter, Marla Box of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was 74 years of age. She was born November 7, 1925 at Mullin, Texas, the daughter of Floyd and Maude Petty Burkett. She married Stoddard "Todd" Gerald on August 11, 1945 in Austin, Texas. She was a housewife. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She moved to Kinsland, Texas in 1996 from Arlington, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Maude Burkett and one brother, Jim Burkett. Survivors are her husband, Todd Gerald of Kingsland, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Marla and Jon Box of San Antonio; brother-in-law and spouse, Sumpter and Laura Helen Gerald; sister-in law and spouse, Billie and Jim Miller; nieces and spouses, Jamie and Adam Reeder and Janell and Tio Kleburg; and a nephew and spouse, Jim and Virgie Gerald. The funeral was Sunday, December 5, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel in Goldthwaite with Bill Breitschopt officiating, assisted by Terry Jackson, minister of the Goldthwaite Church of Christ. Interment was in the Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery, Goldthwaite, Mills County Texas. Pallbearers were Bill Johnson, Don Burkett, Charles Willingham, Adam Reeder, Jim Gerald, Jim Muir, Mike O'Brien, and Paul Domanovsky. |
