FUNERAL HELD AUG. 16 FOR HELEN MAYR

 Helen Mayr of Goldthwaite Texas, died Saturday, August 14, 1999 at her home at Lake Merritt.  She was 69 years of age.

Mrs. Mayr was born February 15, 1930 at Mullin Texas. the daughter of Archer (Archie) and Gladys (Burkett) Hodges.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.  She was a bookkeeper.

Survivors are her three sons, Paul Mark Mayr of Arlington, Robert Edward Mayr of Terrell, and Wesley Ray Mayr of Dallas and Comanche County; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her father Archie Hodges of Goldthwaite; one brother, Dr. Joe Hodges of Abilene; and one sister, Nelda Ruth Willingham of Arlington.

The funeral was conducted Monday, August 16, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel in Goldthwaite.  Terry Jackson minister of the Goldthwaite Church of Christ, officiated at the final rites.  Interment was in the Oakview Cemetery, Mullin, Mills County, Texas.
