Roberta Ann Morris

PEABODY -- Roberta Ann Morris, 69, died Nov. 18, 1999 at Friendly Acres, Newton.

She was born Feb. 6, 1930, at Ness City, the daughter of James Stephen and Nora Frances Morris Coleman.  She attended Arkansas City schools.  A longtime Peabody resident, formerly of Arkansas City, she was a retired secretary.

On Sept. 17, 1949, she married Carol Wayne Morris at Syracuse.  He died in 1995.

Survivors include; three sons, James W., Hoisington, David W., Newton, and Steven W., Wichita; a daughter, Donna LoRee Hall, San Antonio; a sister, Norma Lee Smith, Springfield, Colo.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Baptist Church, Peabody, with the Rev. Rodger Charles presiding.  Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Ashton.  Baker Funeral Home, Peabody, is in charge of arrangements.
