Henson, Jimmy Darrell

NEODESHA -- Jimmy Darrell Henson, 57, Neodesha, died Friday, July 28, 2000, at his home.

He was born June 1, 1943, in Winfield to Dale and Hope (Hayes) Henson.  He served in the United States Navy from 1960-1966.  He was employed by Prestige Inc. in Neodesha.   

He married Dorothy Smith on Sept. 5, 1980.  She survives of the home.

Other survivors include three sons, Jim Henson Jr., Springfield, Mo., Nicholas Eastwood and David Eastwood both of Neodesha, two daughters, Judy Eastwood and Michelle LaForte, both of Neodesha, one sister, Toni Hendrix of Parsons and two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Fredonia City Cemetery with the Rev. Dave Cheshier officiating.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Inc.  Timmons Funeral Home in Charge of arrangements,
