Audrey VeLois Wallace, 78, of Modesto died Monday at her home.

Mrs. Wallace was a native of Valliant, Okla.  She lived in Modesto 55 years.  She was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Pentecostal Church, Grayson.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer Wallace of Modesto; children, Donald Lewis, Gary Wallace, Cleta Lane and Sharon Hogan, all of Modesto; stepdaughter, Anna Lee Clements of Shasta Lake; brothers, David Horton of Big Oak Flat; sisters, Valda Stith of Pueblo, Colo., Darlene Smith of Modesto and Frankie Dell Mayfield of Lakewood; and 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson.  Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
